In Memory of my beloved, Catherine Muse
November 3, 1955 - September 3, 2005
My partner, my confidant, my lover, my best friend,
and above all, my co-laborer in Christ, is now home with Him.

Catherine's recent thoughts:
The vanity of the heart
Follows the foolishness of the mind
The body then succumbs
To the ravages of lies
People who are deaf
Proclaim that they have heard
Those who are blind
Shout that they have seen
Men who haven't read
Proclaim their rhema of God's Word
Woman play act Proverbs 31
While indulging their own flesh
And the young ones
In age
In spirit
Are left floundering
Turning to the latest fad in vain
Seeking out the Truth
6/01/04
Beware of the serpent's lair
Where the false of heart
Claim to have a fresh vision of truth
Whose vision? Whose truth?
Do you really care
Or are appearances your only standard?

I'd rather be a fool for Christ
Than a Judas goat.
The jeering of men is nothing
Compared to the eternal wailings,
Or to stand in judgment for being silent
Because it was the easy thing to do.
Forever is a long, long time to spend reliving regrets.
6/25/05
Dancing in the shadows
Waiting in the wings
The follow-spot trained upon another
Don't peak around the curtain
Don't huff with self-inflicted frustration
Simply wait upon your cue
And be ready to hit your mark.

When all you have treasured is put to the flame
Do you recoil in horror, do you call on My name
Do you linger on loss or rejoice in renewal
Life springs from the ashes, death wallows in the shadows.

You have many workmen; stonecutters, masons and carpenters,
as well as men skilled in every work in gold and silver,
bronze and iron - craftsmen beyond number.
Now begin the work, and Lord be with you. 1 Chronicles 22:15-16
