Even though I am listing these sites, I ask that you please use discernment wherever and whenever  you search for information. As the Bereans did in Acts 17:11, please test everything you read or hear by the Word of God.

Why we remove links.

It seems in the spate of removals which have become necessary that the main reason for the removal is not being articulated as well as it could be by those of us who hold to serious matters of conscience and conviction. I believe we should do a better job of explaining this.

The reason for removing a link must always be put forth openly. That is, that to link to somebody who provides a passageway into error, the occult, mysticism, heresy, dominionism -- or by some other unbiblical lure or enticement could cause a weaker brother to stumble -- cannot be countenanced. The consequences to their Christian walk could be terrible and we would bear some of the blame if we were to direct them in this alternate way.

The message for removing a link is this -- We do this out of love!!! We deeply care about those souls who are weaker in the faith, or unfamiliar with the dangers, or who could be vulnerable to being seduced. We care SO MUCH that we cannot bear the thought that precious sheep will be led astray. In order to keep ourselves pure and blameless, without reproach, we must SEPARATE ourselves (in the traditional biblical meaning of this term) from anything that could cause others to stumble into sin or error.

We also care about the Word of God. And we cannot compromise the Truth of the message of Scripture.

There are many Scriptures that could be cited with each of these points, but I think it is very important that we communicate the biblical principle while taking these actions.
